Gerald Charles Dickens

Gerald Charles Dickens, British actor and great-great-grandson of Charles Dickens, brings to life his ancestor’s works in his one-man performances. His Christmas Carol show, in which he portrays 26 characters, brought praise from The New York Times: “a once-in-a-lifetime brush with literary history.” The Boston Globe called his performance “a Dickens of a show!” He also wrote, produced, and performs a biography of Charles Dickens, entitled Mr. Dickens Is Coming!
