Oscar Williams

Oscar Williams was an American anthologist and poet. His first book, Golden Darkness, was awarded the Yale Younger Poets Prize. During his lifetime, his anthologies, including Master Poems of the English LanguageImmortal Poems of the English LanguageThe Pocket Book of Modern Verse, and the Little Treasury Poetry Series, sold more than 2 million copies. Many of his anthologies are still in publication today.
