Oh, she’s also an actress and producer! In order to make cool things, she founded Iron Ocean Productions with her friend and partner, Michelle Purple (she/her). This book was created in partnership with PERIOD., a global, youth-fueled nonprofit which strives to eradicate period poverty and stigma through service, education, and advocacy. "Jessica Biel wants to get people talking about periods. Her new book, A Kids Book About Periods...aims to help parents kick off that sometimes awkward but important conversation with their kids so they can understand how their bodies work, while also normalizing talking about a topic that's often considered taboo: menstruation." - Yahoo! Life

"The result is a straight-forward, easy-to-understand, and informative book that parents and adults can give or read to kids." - GLAMOUR

"As part of her ongoing period education and continued attempts to de-stigmatize menstruation, Biel wrote a book all about periods, aimed at educating children about both their and other people's bodies." - Marie Claire
