The Titans have stepped up to become the DCU’s premier superhero team, and all eyes are on them!

Who are Starfire, Raven, Donna Troy, and Beast Boy? Where do they come from, and what do they stand for?

All will be revealed in Tales of the Titans, an all-new collection of character spotlights in the spirit of the beloved 1980s classic Tales of the New Teen Titans!

First, a spaceship bearing Tamaranean markings crash-lands on Earth, and Starfire goes on a solo mission to uncover its origins. But what awaits her on that journey will bring her back to the earliest days of her youth, to memories of two sisters eternally at war...and perhaps the chance to keep history from repeating itself.

Then, when Raven comes to the aid of a woman in over her head with the Church of Blood, she’ll have to face a terrible reminder of her mother’s tragic past…and an evil closer to her than you may think!

Next, Donna Troy hears rumors of an insidious new leader on the rise in Markovia, and she’ll stop at nothing to use her powers and her photography to bring the truth to light!

Finally, a scientist with nothing to lose needs Beast Boy’s powers for terrifying ends. Gar will have to face what truly makes him special…and save his own life in the process!

Collects Tales of the Titans #1-4.
Shannon and Dean Hale are the husband-and-wife writing team behind Eisner-nominee Rapunzel's Revenge (illustrated by Nathan Hale), New York Times best-selling series The Princess in Black (illustrated by LeUyen Pham), and two novels about Marvel's Squirrel Girl. Shannon Hale is also the author of the Newbery Honor-winning novel Princess Academy, the USA Today best-selling Ever After High series, the graphic novel memoir Real Friends, and others. Shannon and Dean live in Utah with their four children, who all agree that Wonder Woman is one of the greatest superheroes of all time.

PRH Education High School Collections

All reading communities should contain protected time for the sake of reading. Independent reading practices emphasize the process of making meaning through reading, not an end product. The school culture (teachers, administration, etc.) should affirm this daily practice time as inherently important instructional time for all readers. (NCTE, 2019)   The Penguin Random House High
