Sophie has developed programs for the European Space Agency, Association of Science and Discovery Centers, and the Science and Technology Facilities Council. She has also delivered lectures on space science around the world, including in Beijing and Shanghai as part of the China-UK strategic space partnership. Sophie has written and collaborated on multiple children's books with DK.

Dawn Cooper is an illustrator from Bristol, UK. Her artwork is all heavily inspired by the natural world and its many creatures, as well as by traditional botanical drawings and works of fiction. Dawn currently creates her work digitally, hand-drawing directly onto a tablet, to make multi-layered illustrations with lots of color and texture. In the rare moments when she’s not drawing, Dawn likes nothing more than a long, rewarding walk with her camera, or browsing a bookshop or two.
